Manually editing the cropping of a photo

Feel like a certain scanned photo wasn’t cropped correctly? You can manually adjust its cropping.

  1. When on a photo you’d like to edit, tap the Edit icon in the top-right of the screen to open the Edit options screen.
  2. Next, tap the crop icon on the bottom of the screen to edit its cropping.
  3. Tap & drag the corner knobs or one of the ‘frame ribs’ to adjust the bounding box: Tap the check sign icon to save your changes.

Adjusting two photos the app cropped as one

  1. In the case where two photos are scanned as one, start by fitting the cropping bounds to one of them first (as explained above), and tap the check sign icon to save.
  2. Next, go to the album screen. Tap the album’s Options link at the top-right. This will prompt the album’s Options menu.
  3. Select Edit original scan shots from the menu. This will take you to a screen with all the scanned shots you took, with photos marked with dashed boundary lines. Tap the shot with the missing photo.
  4. Lastly, tap the missing photo's center to mark it and then tap the check sign icon to save.

The method mentioned above is also useful to ensure all paper photos were properly scanned and cropped. If one was missed, you can easily mark it manually.
